Recently I have gone through bad experiences with Froude packers and movers company .I just wanted to share my experience with you guys so you will also be aware about Froude going on in the market. You should be very careful before booking your valuable goods and things on unauthorized packers and movers companies .I am from the software field so most of the time we are used to online apps and services but after covid-19 most of the people depend on online services. We should very careful before using online portal which is not standard.
I came to Indore (My home town) from Bangalore because of covid-19.I planned my bike to transport from Bangalore to Indore. Normally we go to local packers and movers and book our valuable items but after covid-19 things have changed and the online market expands and people started using online apps and web portals and some hackers taking advantage of online portal and offering you fake websites .Once I have done online inquiries for shifting my bike after that daily I am getting calls from agents for different rates and offers and all were giving very cheap offers. I thought not to go with a cheap discount let’s search some standard vendors. I got a link http://www.vrlpacker.co.in .I really believed it is really authenticated sites and I have contacted (WhatsApp) given a number .He gave me a reasonable deal .I thought it was a genuine dealer and confirmed the home pickup & drop. One delivery boy picked up the bike from my Bangalore home (My friend handed over my bike to him) and the delivery boy gave some recipes to my friend and my friend asked for a pickup guy's Aadhar card number too .I was thinking everything is normal and genuine and within 5,6 days my bike will deliver to Indore.
After two days I asked for the status\Tracking number of my bike and suddenly that guy started ignoring my message and calls. I doubt something fishy is there then I called the VRL office and enquired about my bike so they told me this is not our website. It's a fake URL and we do not pick any bike from home . I realized that time I lost my bike. After that I tried to call that number continually. He was not picking .After two day I got a new transportation bill amount from the new number. It's around 10K.It’s almost double what they committed to me at starting .When I called again to get the new number he picked up but he was some other guy. He clearly said you have to pay that amount otherwise you will not get the bike. you have to transfer the amount from google pay (9063685001) .He was clearly threatening me .We really fought on the phone for 15 minutes .I told him I am going to the police but it seems he doesn't care. I had no choice .Then I decided not to pay. My bike is too old and 10k is too much for it. After 3 days he called me again and started to bargain how much you can pay .I believe they need more money .After two days of intensive bargain he agreed 2K more what he committed earlier. I had no choice .I paid 2k and he showed me the bike on video call and then they transported the bike from GATI courier .I understand you will get your currier but you have to pay double because you don’t have any choice. They will hijack your valuable thing and after that they will ask more money .You will not go to the police because you know it's a headache.
Those 10 days were really bad. That is why I am sharing my experience here because once you decide to transport your valuable things, go to an authenticated vendor and personally visit their local office so they have some proper contact person. Many fake URLs coming top on SOE. you will think its the actual vendor but that is a trap.
